The Kaïla Sisters group was born from a dream, that of reviving Hawaiian music from the beginning of the 20th century. With the ukulele and the lap steel whose timbres immediately evoke the Pacific islands, the quartet also takes the paths of the Blues and, with the presence of the mandolin, adds an original folk note for stopovers in New Orleans land. Blues-folk-swing trio composed of Hélène Pagliari on double bass, Elie Coquard on harmonicas and Yan Yalego on ukulele, vocals and foot percussion.
