"Ukuleleboboys"

Rediscover cult songs to the sound of two ukuleles, four boots, a sampler and a few effects. Caramba! With Ukuleleboboys it's not just about mariachis, it's not just about the ukulele. It's about Sancho y Diego, two brothers from Mexico to whom we are sure to become attached. For their sharp, complicit, sincere, generous musicality and their sense of cover. For their whimsical, energetic, eccentric, comical personality and their sense of improvisation. With Ukuleleboboys, we dive into a musical world that exudes an absurd warmth that carries the audience into a collective fever that is conducive to smiles. The choice of songs (from Britney Spears to David Bowie, including Joe Dassin and Serge Gainsbourg), the beauty of the voices in harmony, the demands of the arrangements, the rhythmic energy, and the lightness constitute the basis of a crazy and joyful rock performance. Body and soul, Sancho y Diego, mariachis from father to son for generations, draw from the infinite world heritage of pop music. Sancho Rodriguez: ukulele, vocals, percussion

"Kaila Sisters"

The Kaïla Sisters group was born from a dream, that of reviving Hawaiian music from the beginning of the 20th century. With the ukulele and the lap steel whose timbres immediately evoke the Pacific islands, the quartet also takes the paths of the Blues and, with the presence of the mandolin, adds an original folk note for stopovers in New Orleans land. Through the texts and lyrics of the hits of the time, it is the very contrasting layers of American society that appear, from Sunset Beach to 46th Avenue, the upper middle class on vacation in Hawaii and the unemployed at the end of their rope form the kaleidoscope of this music, like so many small fragments of a larger human fresco. The emotions follow one another, going from the melancholy of a blues to the lascivious mood of a Hawaiian melody, from the invigorating energy of a swing to the passion of a love ballad.
